- After writing my dissertation and before my doctoral defense, I had the honor of taking my doctoral exam (culminating in an excellent grade) on the history of 15th-century philosophy and the methodology of the history of philosophy under the supervision of the doyen of Polish philosophers, Prof. Stefan Swieżawski, PhD, DSc, and I am probably the last person examined by this outstanding thinker.
